Living in Florence, Colorado is a lot like living in any home town, with local sports being a big part of the lifestyle. Families look for T-Ball, Little League, soccer and of course, junior high and high school sports. What is sport organizations are in Florence, Colorado? Are their sport opportunities for adults? Is there a parks and recreation department in Florence?

Local Sports is certainly a big part of our lifestyle in Florence. Well before one of my children attended High School, we made sure not to miss a football game (Go Huskies). Florence has a great Baseball and Softball program as well and let’s not forget Wrestling (Mr. Massee is doing a great job with the boys). For adults we have a number of Sports offered through the Canon City Parks and Recs District and recently I have read about a Semi Pro Football league that someone is trying to establish in Florence. Oh, I almost forgot we also have a Marial Arts Studio in Florence that seems to be doing very well.
